No one sees the sad sad clown,
Behind the mask she wears.
She paints over the scars on her face,
As her face she tears.
No one sees the sad sad clown,
Behind her juggle tricks.
She laughs and sings all night long,
As her heart just "ticks."
No one sees the sad sad clown,
Behind her first impression.
She knows everything and everyone
But loneliness is her obsession.
No one sees the sad sad clown,
Behind these closed four walls.
But everyone sees the sad sad clown,
When she tumbles and finally falls.
