Ant in the City

Just an ant in the city
Trying to make it big
but no matter how hard i try
i cant seem to climb over the pile of leaves on the ground
So I move them slowly...one by one.
trying to not accidently get stepped on
but i tire, moving the leaves
my back isnt as strong as i thought it was
or maybe im just tired of walking in circles...
maybe i should try walking through the leaves?
but im afraid the lady next door will sweep them up
leaving me in the trash
and i'll end up in the city dump.
the city dump is a university of its own.
but not the kind i want to end up in.
im just an ant in the city
only trying to make it big
will i ever be noticed?
